Psychological Consultation

Initial consultation with the therapist to address present issues and/or concerns, as well as discuss strategies and goals for therapy. Several background information will be discussed to help your therapist comprehend your present issues and/or concerns, as well as your treatment plan for the next sessions.

Psychological Assessments

To enable the therapist to identify any factors that may contra-indicate therapy at this time, such as psychiatric history, mental health issues, and substance abuse, so that the therapist can make an informed decision about your suitability for therapy or suggest an alternative form of assistance that will refer you to other healthcare professionals.

Child & Adolescent Therapy

Focusing on the child and adolescent’s background, emotional or social issues, and academic challenges. The willingness of young individuals to engage in therapy sessions will most likely address the identified issues. They receive emotional support, resolve conflicts with people, understand emotions and issues, and explore new solutions to old issues.

Individual Psychotherapy

One-on-one mental health treatment that is tailored to meet an individual’s specific needs. It involves establishing therapeutic goals, reflecting on one’s history, and acquiring strategies to cope with mental health symptoms or triggers, ultimately fostering a healthier lifestyle.

Evaluating an individual’s skills, interests, aptitudes, values, and personality traits to determine his/her career potential and make informed career decisions. It helps individuals gain clarity and direction in choosing a career path that aligns with his/her strengths and goals.

Family Therapy

Helps families to explore specific issues that affect families’ mental health and functioning., Family therapy can help to address psychological, emotional and behavioural issues, and help to enhance communication within relationships in order to improve the family dynamics.

Couples & Marriage Therapy

Helps couples to identify the differences that form crises in the relationship and marriage. Couples & marriage therapy can help to build understanding and empathy in the relationship and marriage, reignite the spark, and work on trust issues. Helps couples to strengthen communication and resolve conflicts healthily.

Exploring the interests, values, and skills to help individuals understand their education choices and career goals. Career counselling can help to navigate career transitions, make informed decisions regarding their future, and develop strategies for personal development.

The therapist provides the client and families with clear information about mental health conditions and well-being, and to improve mental health awareness and coping strategies.

Workshops to promote mental health awareness and well-being by providing opportunities for learning, sharing, and support.

Psychological Consultation

We believe that ideal fit and a good rapport with your therapist is what leads to the most progress and benefits in therapy. We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and determine the ideal fit.

Our appointments are based on an appointment basis, and can vary throughout the week with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend availability. Conclusively, we are here to support you and will do our best to create a schedule for therapy that fits your lifestyle.

Fees

Payment of Fees

Payment is due at the time of service, and can be paid by cash, online bank transfer or debit/credit card. Please keep in mind that we do not accept insurance.

Please note we require a 24-hour notice of cancellation or to reschedule appointments for all sessions.
